The firm is located within offices in Nelson and primarily works in the top of the South Island, however we also work with clients in the Wellington and Kapiti / Horowhenua as our staff are experienced in these regions.

Michael Heyes Mackiggan 

Michael (Mike ) Heyes Mackiggan, originally from Scotland received a B.A. (Honours) in Town Planning from the University of Glasgow in 1987, subsequently working there for local authorities and New Town Development Corporations until emigrating to New Zealand in 1996.

He has worked for local councils, the Department of Conservation, and private consultancies, in both the North and South Islands for the past 27 years. Mike has extensive experience in District and Regional authorities covering virtually all aspects of Resource Management Activity. Mike has lived in Nelson for 20 years and has been in private practice for the past two years.
